The children of farmers in the state of Karnataka will be given the benefit of this scheme so that they can get higher education in a better way (ಕರ್ನಾಟಕ ರಾಜ್ಯದ ರೈತರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಈ ಯೋಜನೆಯ ಲಾಭವನ್ನು ನೀಡಲಾಗುವುದು ಇದರಿಂದ ಅವರು ಉತ್ತಮ ರೀತಿಯಲ್ಲಿ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣವನ್ನು ಪಡೆಯಬಹುದು.).
Objective
Under this Raita Vidya Nidhi Yojana, the state government will provide scholarships as financial assistance for higher education to the children of poor farmers (ಈ ರೈತ ವಿದ್ಯಾ ನಿಧಿ ಯೋಜನೆಯಡಿ ರಾಜ್ಯ ಸರ್ಕಾರ ಬಡ ರೈತರ ಮಕ್ಕಳಿಗೆ ಉನ್ನತ ಶಿಕ್ಷಣಕ್ಕಾಗಿ ಧನಸಹಾಯವಾಗಿ ವಿದ್ಯಾರ್ಥಿ ವೇತನ ನೀಡಲಿದೆ.).
Scholarship Amount
PUC or ITI - ₹2500 (Boys) / ₹3000 (Girls)
BA, BSC, BCOM, MBBS, BE, and other professional courses - ₹5000 (Boys) / ₹5500 (Girls)
Law, Nursing, Paramedical, and other vocational courses - ₹7500 (Boys) / ₹8000 (Girls)
Post-graduation - ₹10000 (Boys) / ₹11000 (Girls)
Eligibility Criteria
The applicant must be a permanent resident of Karnataka.
The father of the applicant must be a farmer by profession.
The applicant must pass 10th class from a recognized board.
