Granted, some of the other cast’s performances were not that great (such as the lead actress).
But overall, this was a solid film and they delivered it as promised. I cannot believe movies like Varisu or Thunivu have better viewership, but master pieces like this are left unnoticed. You are highly advised to watch this in the theater! I promise you won’t regret it. I am not being biased, but this movie really stole 10/10 from me.

I am glad I went to the movie. Education is like prasadam, give it and don’t sell it. GV Prakash is my love. He did a fantastic job with the background music and songs. Everything was on point. Stephen sachaarias voice was a little auto tuned but I still loved the song one life. I hope more awareness movies will be made in the future.

Vaathi is a lesson that we have to learn.

Dhanush has nailed the character in the whole movie. Emotional and comedy scenes are really working. Samyukta was a neat character in the movie. Just that I did not like a few portions which were in Telugu, I could not see the mouth not syncing in Tamil. Dhanush’s acting, cinematography, good acting by the other actors, and a good message about super movies are the prose in this movie.
Talking about the cons, this social message about education would not work for this generation especially for 2000 kids but it is ok and a good try! It has a lengthy screenplay and the music could have been better. A good one by Dhanush, I would not complain much but a good one to watch with your family. Three boys moving to Andhra scene. Dhanush’s introduction and fight with the gang who have beaten his students is an old rotten build up scene.
