Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana About

The Odisha government has launched Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana to help the citizens of the state. The state government will provide financial assistance to the beneficiaries through this scheme so that they can bury their relatives. Through this scheme, the poor in rural areas will be given Rs. 2000 for 19 and the citizens in urban areas will be given Rs. 3000. The state government has launched online application software to make this scheme available to all citizens. A budget of ₹ 14 crores has been allocated from the Chief Minister’s Relief Fund under this scheme. Out of this Rs 14 crore, Rs 10 crore will be taken directly from the relief fund of the Chief Minister, and the remaining Rs 4 crore will come through the collectors.

Purpose of Harishchandra Sahayata Yojana
