The Government of Karnataka has introduced Karnataka Saptapadi Vivah Yojana for the benefit of the citizens. You can also call this plan a mass wedding plan. The Government has informed that the benefits of this scheme will be provided to all the beneficiaries eligible under Muzrai Mass Marriage Scheme. This scheme will be offered to those candidates who are unable to continue their marriage due to their financial constraints. Through this scheme, mass marriage will be arranged for the willing beneficiaries.

The government has re-launched the scheme after a gap of two years. And this information was shared by the authorities on 13th May 2022 by the government. Under this scheme mass marriages will be conducted on 28th April, 11th May, 25th May in selected A Division temples. The plan was put on hold by the government in 2019 during the coronavirus. And the bride will be given 10000 rupees and the groom will be given 5000 rupees. Through this scheme mass marriages will be arranged in the temples of section A. The selected temples of this scheme include Banashankari, Gavi gangadhareshwara, kadu Malleshwara, and Dodda Ganapathi, etc.

After a gap of 2 years, the Karnataka government has decided to restart the scheme. In 2019, the plan was put on hold for the coronavirus. Through this scheme, lower and middle class families will be prevented from falling into financial crisis due to big brothers. Under this scheme mass marriages will be conducted on 28th April, 11th May, 25th May in selected A Division temples. Beneficiaries will be provided financial assistance through this scheme.
